Abstract
A 2,2′-bibenzo[d]imidazolidene compound expressed by the following general formula (1). In general formula (1), A1 to Ar4 each represent a substituted or unsubstituted heteromonocyclic group. R1 to R8 each represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent.

A 2,2′-bibenzo[d]imidazolidene compound expressed by the following general formula (1):
- wherein Ar1 to Ar4 each represent a substituted or unsubstituted heteromonocyclic group;
- R1 to R8 each represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent selected from the group consisting of halogen atoms, alkyl groups having a carbon number in the range of 1 to 8, and substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon groups.
