Abstract
A method to author music. The method includes generating, based on a collection of media clips stored on a device, an audio component for an audio/video (A/V) presentation, determining a plurality of locations within the audio component where a beat, onset, segment boundary, or stinger occurs within the audio component, selecting a particular location in the plurality of locations as a transition location, generating, based the collection of media clips and the transition location within the audio component, a video component for the A/V presentation, and generating the A/V presentation based on the audio component and the video component.
Claims19
A non-transitory computer readable medium including one or more sequences of instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the processors to perform operations comprising:
- generating, based on a collection of media clips stored on a device, an audio component for an audio/video (A/V) presentation;
- determining a plurality of locations within the audio component where a beat, onset, segment boundary, or stinger occurs within the audio component;
- selecting a particular location in the plurality of locations as a transition location;
- generating, based the collection of media clips and the transition location within the audio component, a video component for the AN presentation;
- and
- generating the A/V presentation based on the audio component and the video component.
A mobile device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- one or more sequences of instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the processors to perform operations comprising:
- identifying a collection of media clips stored on a device;
- generating, via an audio compositing process and based on the collection of media clips, an audio component of an audio/video (A/V) presentation;
- determining an audibly discernable location within the audio component;
- providing, by the audio compositing process to a video compositing process, the audibly discernable location;
- generating, via the video compositing process and based the collection of media clips and the provided audibly discernable location, a video component of the A/V presentation;
- and
- generating the A/V presentation based on the audio component and the video component.
A method comprising:
- identifying a collection of media clips stored on a device;
- generating, via an audio compositing process and based on the collection of media clips, an audio component of an audio/video (A/V) presentation;
- determining an audibly discernable location within the audio component;
- providing, by the audio compositing process to a video compositing process, the audibly discernable location;
- generating, via the video compositing process and based the collection of media clips and the provided audibly discernable location, a video component of the A/V presentation;
- and
- generating the A/V presentation based on the audio component and the video component.
