A printer comprising:

• a data receiver configured to receive print data from a client terminal, the print data generated by executing a print control script embedded in a web page,
• a memory configured to temporarily store the print data,
• a controller configured to print the print data,
• wherein the controller, when the data receiver receives all of the print data, configured to read the print data from the memory and to print the print data.

A method of controlling a printer comprising:

• receiving print data from a client terminal, the print data generated by executing a print control script embedded in a web page,
• temporarily storing the print data into a memory, and
• printing the print data,
• wherein the printing step, when the data receiving step receives all of the print data, reads the print data from the memory and prints the print data.
