Abstract
A gasket track for a gasket is provided. The gasket track includes a c-shaped channel that is formed of a first section and a second section. The first section is from 50% to 75% of the c-shaped channel. The second section is from 25% to 50% of the c-shaped channel. The first section and the second section are joined together to form all of the c-shaped channel. The first section and the second section are formed of a plastic material. The c-shaped channel has a circular cross section that forms at least 65% of an ellipse.
Claims20
A gasket track for a gasket comprising:
- a c-shaped channel comprising
- a first section comprising from 50% to 75% of the c-shaped channel;
- and
- a second section comprising from 25% to 50% of the c-shaped channel,
- wherein the first section and the second section are joined together to form all of the c-shaped channel,
- wherein the first section and the second section are formed of a plastic material,
- wherein the c-shaped channel has a circular cross section that forms at least 65% of an ellipse.
A drawer panel for a freezer drawer comprising:
- a panel face shell comprising a front wall and a first plurality of side walls, wherein the first plurality of side walls extend from the front wall to form a first aperture;
- a ring wall mounted to the first plurality of side walls, the ring wall defining a second aperture;
- a liner shell comprising a back wall and a second plurality of side walls, wherein the second plurality of side walls extend from the back wall to form a third aperture;
- and
- a gasket,
- wherein the ring wall is attached to the second plurality of side walls to form a c-shaped channel comprising
- a first section comprising from 50% to 75% of the c-shaped channel;
- and
- a second section comprising from 25% to 50% of the c-shaped channel,
- wherein the first section and the second section are joined together to form all of the c-shaped channel,
- wherein the first section and the second section are formed of a plastic material,
- wherein the c-shaped channel has a circular cross section that forms at least 65% of an ellipse,
- wherein a portion of the gasket fits within the c-shaped channel.
A freezer drawer comprising:
- a drawer panel comprising
- a panel face shell comprising a front wall and a first plurality of side walls, wherein the first plurality of side walls extend from the front wall to form a first aperture;
- a ring wall mounted to the first plurality of side walls, the ring wall defining a second aperture;
- a liner shell comprising a back wall and a second plurality of side walls, wherein the second plurality of side walls extend from the back wall to form a third aperture;
- and
- a gasket,
- wherein the ring wall is attached to the second plurality of side walls to form a c-shaped channel comprising
- a first section comprising from 50% to 75% of the c-shaped channel;
- and
- a second section comprising from 25% to 50% of the c-shaped channel,
- wherein the first section and the second section are joined together to form all of the c-shaped channel,
- wherein the first section and the second section are formed of a plastic material,
- wherein the c-shaped channel has a circular cross section that forms at least 65% of an ellipse,
- wherein a portion of the gasket fits within the c-shaped channel;
- and
- a container mounted to the liner shell, the container comprising
- a left side wall;
- a right side wall;
- a back wall;
- and
- a bottom wall.
