Abstract
An electronic device is described which has a sensor panel comprising a plurality of receive electrodes configured to measure signals received from one or more transmit electrodes. The device has a sensor panel control module configured to: receive signals from the plurality of receive electrodes in the presence of at least one tone interferer. The module is configured to convert the received signals from a time domain into a frequency domain; and to process the received signals in the frequency domain in order to mitigate the effect of the tone interferer.

An electronic device comprising:
- a sensor panel comprising a plurality of receive electrodes configured to measure signals received from one or more transmit electrodes;
- and
- a sensor panel control module configured to:
- receive signals from the plurality of receive electrodes in the presence of at least one tone interferer;
- convert the received signals from a time domain into a frequency domain;
- and
- process the received signals in the frequency domain in order to mitigate the effect of the tone interferer.
A sensor panel control module for controlling a sensor panel, the sensor panel control module comprising circuitry configured to:
- receive signals from the plurality of receive electrodes in the presence of at least one tone interferer;
- convert the received signals from a time domain into a frequency domain;
- and
- process the received signals in the frequency domain in order to mitigate the effect of the tone interferer.
A method of controlling a sensor panel comprising:
- receiving signals from the plurality of receive electrodes in the presence of at least one tone interferer;
- converting the received signals from a time domain into a frequency domain;
- and
- processing the received signals in the frequency domain in order to mitigate the effect of the tone interferer.
