The disclosure relates to a container for filtering a suspension which comprises a lid and a vessel. The container comprises a filter that divides an interior space of the container into a first compartment and a second compartment. The lid comprises a first access and a second access. The first access is connected to the first compartment, and the second access is connected to the second compartment.

A container for filtering a suspension, the container comprising:
- a lid;
- and
- a vessel;
- a filter that divides an interior space of the container into a first compartment and a second compartment;
- wherein the lid comprises a first access and a second access, and the first access being connected to the first compartment, and the second access being connected to the second compartment.

A method for filtering a suspension, comprising the following steps:
- providing a container comprising a lid and a vessel, wherein the container comprises a filter that divides an interior space of the container into a first compartment and a second compartment, the lid comprising a first access and a second access, and the first access being connected to the first compartment, and the second access being connected to the second compartment;
- adding a liquid to be filtered into the interior space through the first access or through the second access;
- and
- removing a filtered liquid from the interior space through the second access or the first access.
