Abstract
A surface sheet for absorbent articles includes: a nonwoven fabric made of a short fiber; and a hydrophobic granular gel composition attached to the short fiber, and has a dispersion region in a skin-facing-side surface of the surface sheet, in which the granular gel composition is present in a dispersed state, and in the dispersion region, a dispersion state coefficient representing the dispersion state of the granular gel composition is 900-5000.

A top sheet for an absorbent article,
- wherein the top sheet comprises a nonwoven fabric composed of staple fibers and a hydrophobic granular gel composition adhering to the staple fibers, and the skin side surface of the top sheet has a dispersing region in which the granular gel composition is present in a dispersed state, and
- the dispersed state coefficient, which represents the dispersed state of the granular gel composition, is 900 to 5000 in the dispersing region.
