A wiper apparatus which removes foreign matters from a windshield by rotating by a pivot of a vehicle, the wiper apparatus comprising:
- as a lock-back device for converting a rotation direction depending on a magnitude of elastic restoring force and lock-back retention force based on an imaginary neutral shaft by applying the elastic restoring force to an arm retainer rotatably coupled to an arm head by a rotary shaft, an elastic hook having a hook, which connects a spring connected to the arm retainer side rivet to the arm head side rivet, hooked at an end so that an overall appearance including the spring is not exposed to a lower outside of the arm retainer.
