Control method of mobile terminal apparatus

A system comprising:

• a first earphone that includes a sensor;
• a second earphone that includes a sensor;
• and
• processing circuitry configured to
• determine whether the first earphone and second earphone are in a first state in which both earphones are worn by a user, or a second state in which only one of the first earphone and the second earphone is worn by the user, on the basis of an output from at least one of the sensors of the first earphone and the second earphone;
• and
• control a behavior of a mobile device connected to at least one of the first and the second earphones according to the determined state.

A first earphone comprising:

• a sensor;
• communication circuitry configured to communicate with a second earphone and a mobile device;
• and
• processing circuitry configured to
• determine whether the first earphone and second earphone are in a first state in which both earphones are worn by a user, or a second state in which only one of the first earphone and the second earphone is worn by the user, on the basis of an output from the sensor,
• wherein a behavior of the mobile device is controlled according to the determined state.

A mobile device comprising:

• communication circuitry configured to communicate with a first earphone and a second earphone, each of the first earphone and second earphone including a sensor;
• and
• processing circuitry configured to
• determine whether the first earphone and second earphone are in a first state in which both earphones are worn by a user, or a second state in which only one of the first earphone and the second earphone is worn by the user, on the basis of an output from at least one of the sensors of the first earphone and the second earphone;
• and
• control a behavior of the mobile device according to the determined state.

A first earphone comprising:

• a sensor;
• communication circuitry configured to communicate with a second earphone that includes a sensor;
• and
• processing circuitry configured to
• determine whether the first earphone and second earphone are in a first state in which both earphones are worn by a user, or a second state in which only one of the first earphone and the second earphone is worn by the user, on the basis of an output from at least one of the sensors of the first earphone and the second earphone, and
• control a behavior of the first earphone according to the determined state.
