Abstract
An imaging apparatus includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire a luminance range that allows gradation expression in an image to be captured, based on setting information when an image is generated, and a presentation unit configured to present a luminance range that allows gradation expression in an image to be captured.

An imaging apparatus comprising:
- an acquisition unit configured to acquire a luminance range that allows gradation expression in an image to be captured, based on setting information when an image is generated;
- and
- a presentation unit configured to present the luminance range.
A method for an imaging apparatus, the method comprising:
- acquiring a luminance range that allows gradation expression in an image to be captured, based on setting information when an image is generated;
- and
- presenting the luminance range.
A computer-readable storage medium storing a program of instructions for causing a computer to perform a method comprising:
- acquiring a luminance range that allows gradation expression in an image to be captured, based on setting information when an image is generated;
- and
- presenting the luminance range.
