Abstract
Disclosed are a transmitter and a pilot sequence transmission method comprising: generating an asymmetric sequence set comprising pilot sequences which have been shifted by irregular intervals; mapping, to the pilot sequences, additional information that is shown by using shared bits and non-shared bits; and selecting any one pilot sequence and transmitting same.
Claims10
A method of transmitting a pilot sequence by a transmitter to a receiver in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- generating an asymmetric sequence set including a plurality of pilot sequences cyclically shifted at unequal intervals in a time domain;
- mapping additional information represented by different bit values to the pilot sequences included in the asymmetric sequence set, respectively;
- and
- transmitting, to the receiver, a pilot sequence selected from the asymmetric sequence set,
- wherein the plurality of pilot sequences are grouped on the basis of a shift value, and
- wherein the additional information is represented by a shared bit mapped as the same value to grouped pilot sequences and a non-shared bit mapped as different values to the grouped pilot sequences.
A transmitter for transmitting a pilot sequence to a receiver in a wireless communication system, the transmitter comprising:
- a transmission unit;
- a reception unit;
- and
- a processor connected to the transmission unit and the reception unit to operate,
- wherein the processor is configured to:
- generate an asymmetric sequence set including a plurality of pilot sequences cyclically shifted at unequal intervals in a time domain,
- map additional information represented by different bit values to the pilot sequences included in the asymmetric sequence set, respectively, and
- transmit, to the receiver, a pilot sequence selected from the asymmetric sequence set,
- wherein the plurality of pilot sequences are grouped on the basis of a shift value, and
- wherein the additional information is represented by a shared bit mapped as the same value to grouped pilot sequences and a non-shared bit mapped as different values to the grouped pilot sequences.
