Abstract
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for reporting an RLC (Radio Link Control) re-transmission failure in the wireless communication system, the method comprising: communicating with both the first BS and the second BS, wherein the first BS has a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection with the UE; and reporting to the first BS, a Radio Link Control (RLC) retransmission error without RRC connection re-establishment for the first BS if the RLC retransmission error occurs in an RLC entity transmitting RLC PDU (Protocol Data Unit) to the second BS.
Claims12
A method for a user equipment (UE) operating in a wireless communication system supporting dual connectivity comprising:
- communicating with both a master eNode-B (MeNB) and the secondary eNode-B (SeNB);
- and
- reporting to the MeNB, a radio link failure information if a Radio Link Control (RLC) retransmission error that a predetermined maximum number of retransmission is reached occurs in an RLC entity transmitting RLC PDU (Protocol Data Unit) to the SeNB, and
- wherein the MeNB and the SeNB are connected via dual connectivity connection, and the MeNB has a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection with the UE, and
- wherein said reporting comprises reporting a type of the reporting indicating the RLC retransmission error if the RLC retransmission error occurs in an RLC entity transmitting RLC PDU to the SeNB.
A user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system comprising a first base station (BS) and a SeNB, the UE comprising:
- an RF (radio frequency) module;
- and
- a processor configured to control the RF module,
- wherein the processor is configured to:
- control the RF module to communicate with both a master eNode-B (MeNB) and the secondary eNode-B (SeNB);
- and
- control the RF module to report to the MeNB, a radio link failure information if a Radio Link Control (RLC) retransmission error that a predetermined maximum number of retransmission is reached occurs in an RLC entity transmitting RLC PDU (Protocol Data Unit) to the SeNB, and
- wherein the MeNB and the SeNB are connected via dual connectivity connection, and the MeNB has a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection with the UE, and
- wherein said reporting comprises reporting a type of the reporting indicating the RLC retransmission error if the RLC retransmission error occurs in an RLC entity transmitting RLC PDU to the SeNB;
- and
