• the light emitting layer is a layer comprising an iridium complex (A) represented by formula (A) and a heterocyclic compound constituted of typical elements (B),
• the hole transporting layer is a layer comprising a crosslinked body of a crosslinkable material, and
• the molecular weight (MA) of the iridium complex (A) and the molecular weight (MB) of the heterocyclic compound (B) satisfy the formula (M1-1) and the formula (M2-1):
• 2700≤MA+MB≤10000 (M1-1)
• 0.35≤MA/MB≤3.00 (M2-1),
• wherein
• n1 represents an integer of 1 or more, n2 represents an integer of 0 or more, and n1+n2 is 3,
• E1 and E2 each independently represent a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom, and at least one of E1 and E2 is a carbon atom,
• ring R1 represents an aromatic heterocyclic ring optionally substituted with a halogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkoxy group, a cycloalkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an aryl group, a pyridyl group, a pyrimidinyl group, a triazinyl group or a substituted amino group, and each of these groups is optionally further substituted with an alkyl group optionally substituted with a halogen atom, a cyano group, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, a cycloalkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an amino group, a substituted amino group, an alkenyl group, a cycloalkenyl group, an alkynyl group or a cycloalkynyl group;

• or an aryl group optionally substituted with a halogen atom, a cyano group, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, a cycloalkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an amino group, a substituted amino group, an alkenyl group, a cycloalkenyl group, an alkynyl group or a cycloalkynyl group, and when the aromatic heterocyclic ring of the ring R1 is substituted with a plurality of substituents, the substituents can be the same or different and can be combined together to form a ring together with the atoms to which they are attached, and when a plurality of the rings R1 are present, they can be the same or different,
• ring R2 represents an aromatic hydrocarbon ring or an aromatic heterocyclic ring and each of these rings is optionally substituted with a halogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkoxy group, a cycloalkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an aryl group, a pyridyl group, a pyrimidinyl group, a triazinyl group or a substituted amino group, and each of these groups is optionally further substituted with an alkyl group optionally substituted with a halogen atom, a cyano group, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, a cycloalkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an amino group, a substituted amino group, an alkenyl group, a cycloalkenyl group, an alkynyl group or a cycloalkynyl group;

• the optional substituent of the ring R1 and the optional substituent of the ring R2 can be combined together to form a ring together with the atoms to which they are attached, and
• A1-G1-A2 represents an anionic bidentate ligand, wherein A1 and A2 each independently represent a carbon atom, an oxygen atom or a nitrogen atom and these atoms can be an atom constituting a ring, G1 represents a single bond or an atomic group constituting the bidentate ligand together with A1 and A2, and when a plurality of A1-G1-A2 are present, they can be the same or different.
