Abstract
A substrate component used in manufacturing a flexible display panel is provided. The substrate component includes a rigid substrate; a flexible substrate; and a sealed plastic frame between the rigid substrate and the flexible substrate. The flexible substrate is fixed to the rigid substrate via the sealed plastic frame. A negative pressure is formed within the sealed plastic frame such that a vacuum region is formed between an area of the flexible substrate that is located within the sealed plastic frame and the rigid substrate and the area of the flexible substrate that is located within the sealed plastic frame is attached to the rigid substrate due to the negative pressure of the vacuum region.
Claims12
A substrate component for manufacturing flexible display panels, comprising:
- a rigid substrate;
- a flexible substrate;
- and
- a sealed plastic frame between the rigid substrate and the flexible substrate, wherein the flexible substrate adheres to the rigid substrate via the sealed plastic frame and a negative pressure is formed within the sealed plastic frame such that a vacuum region is formed between an area of the flexible substrate that is located within the sealed plastic frame and the rigid substrate and the area of the flexible substrate that is located within the sealed plastic frame is attached to the rigid substrate due to the negative pressure of the vacuum region.
