Systems and methods for data communication using audio patterns are described. The methods include encoding a message into an audio pattern, mixing the audio pattern with an audio content to obtain a mixed audio content, wherein the audio pattern is inaudible in the mixed audio content, and transmitting the mixed audio content.
Claims21
(canceled)
A system comprising:
- a non-transitory memory;
- and
- one or more hardware processors coupled to the non-transitory memory and configured to read instructions from the non-transitory memory to cause the system to perform operations comprising:
- transmitting media content to a user device, wherein the media content comprises data encoded in the media content in a format that is imperceptible to a user;
- receiving a user response to the data from the user device;
- and
- adjusting a transmission frequency for the data based on the user response.

A method comprising:
- transmitting, using an output device, media content to a user device, wherein the media content comprises data encoded in the media content in a format that is imperceptible to a user;
- receiving a user response to the data from the user device;
- adjusting a transmission frequency for the data based on the user response;
- and
- transmitting the media content at the adjusted transmission frequency.
2 more elements
A non-transitory machine readable medium having stored thereon machine-readable instructions executable to cause a machine to perform operations comprising:
- transmitting, using an output device, media content to a user device, wherein the media content comprises data encoded in the media content in a format that is imperceptible to a user;
- receiving a user response to the data from the user device;
- and
- adjusting a transmission frequency for the data based on the user response.
