Vehicle and method for controlling the same

A vehicle comprising:

• a holding groove configured to hold an external device when the external device is inserted thereto;
• an identifier positioned in the holding groove, wherein the identifier is configured to recognize display area information of the external device;
• a controller configured to generate image data to reconstruct a screen to be displayed on the external device based on the display area information of the external device;
• and
• a communicator configured to transmit the image data to the external device.

A method for controlling a vehicle, the method comprising:

• transmitting a frequency signal to an external device;
• receiving information about a display area of the external device set up by the external device based on the frequency signal;
• generating image data to reconstruct a screen to be displayed on the external device based on the display area information of the external device;
• and
• transmitting the image data to the external device.

A method for controlling a vehicle, the method comprising:

• recognizing information about a display area of an external device;
• generating image data to reconstruct a screen to be displayed on the external device based on display area information of the external device;
• and
• transmitting the image data to the external device.
