Abstract
An image processing apparatus that provides privacy protection and monitoring acquires a background image and a captured image, extracts an object region corresponding to a predetermined object from the captured image, sets a masking color based on color information about the background image, and masks the extracted object region based on the masking color.
Claims14
An image processing apparatus, comprising:
- an acquiring unit configured to acquire a background image and a captured image;
- an extraction unit configured to extract, from the captured image, an object region corresponding to a predetermined object;
- and
- a processing unit configured to set a masking color based on color information about the background image, and to mask the extracted object region based on the masking color.
An image processing apparatus, comprising:
- an acquiring unit configured to acquire a background image, a first captured image, and a second captured image;
- an extraction unit configured to extract respective object regions corresponding to a predetermined object from the first and second captured images;
- and
- a processing unit configured to set respective masking colors of the first and second captured images based on color information about the background image and to mask the respective object regions extracted from the first and second captured images based on the respective masking colors, the respective masking colors being different from each other.
An image processing method, comprising:
- acquiring a background image and a captured image;
- extracting an object region corresponding to a predetermined object from the captured image;
- setting a masking color based on color information about the background image;
- and
- masking the extracted object region based on the masking color.
An image processing method, comprising:
- acquiring a background image, a first captured image, and a second captured image;
- extracting respective object regions corresponding to a predetermined object from the first and second captured images;
- setting respective masking colors of the first and second captured images based on color information about the background image;
- and
- masking the respective object regions extracted from the first and second captured images based on the respective masking colors, the respective masking colors being different from each other.
A storage medium storing a program that causes a computer execute an image processing method, the image processing method comprising:
- acquiring a background image and a captured image;
- extracting an object region corresponding to a predetermined object from the captured image;
- setting a masking color based on color information about the background image;
- and
- masking the extracted object region based on the masking color.
A storage medium storing a program that causes a computer to execute an image processing method, the image processing method comprising:
- acquiring a background image, a first captured image, and a second captured image;
- extracting respective object regions corresponding to a predetermined object from the first and second captured images;
- setting respective masking colors of the first and second captured images based on color information about the background image;
- and
- masking the respective object regions extracted from the first and second captured images based on the respective masking colors, the respective masking colors being different from each other.
