Claims21
(canceled)
A system, comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one memory device storing computer-executable instructions that, in response to execution by the at least one processor, cause the system to perform operations comprising:
- receiving data corresponding to a physical location of a device associated with a user;
- determining whether the device is located within a proximity of a place having a physical location with geographical borders;
- determining whether the physical location of the device is within the geographical borders of the physical location of the place;
- in response to determining that the physical location of the user is within the geographical borders of the physical location of the place, ascertaining whether digital content is available within the geographical borders of the physical location of the place;
- upon ascertaining that the digital content is available, sending a first offer to an account associated with the user to display the digital content to the device associated with the user;
- receiving a response to the offer;
- analyzing the response to determine whether the offer was accepted;
- in response to determining that the user has accepted the offer, granting the user electronic access to the digital content, the digital content being accessible only while the physical location of the device associated with the user is within the geographical borders of the physical location of the place;
- periodically monitoring the physical location of the user;
- in response to receiving an indication that the user is outside the geographical borders associated with the physical location, restricting the electronic access to the digital content;
- and
- sending a second offer to extend the electronic access to the digital content past the geographical borders in return for receiving a payment within a specified amount of time.
A method, comprising:
- receiving data corresponding to a physical location of a device associated with a user;
- determining whether the device is located within a proximity of a place having a physical location with geographical borders;
- determining whether the physical location of the device is within the geographical borders of the physical location of the place;
- in response to determining that the physical location of the user is within the geographical borders of the physical location of the place, ascertaining whether digital content is available within the geographical borders of the physical location of the place;
- upon ascertaining that the digital content is available, sending a first offer to an account associated with the user to display the digital content to the device associated with the user;
- receiving a response to the offer;
- analyzing the response to determine whether the offer was accepted;
- in response to determining that the user has accepted the offer, granting the user electronic access to the digital content, the digital content being accessible only while the physical location of the device associated with the user is within the geographical borders of the physical location of the place;
- periodically monitoring the physical location of the user;
- in response to receiving an indication that the user is outside the geographical borders associated with the physical location, restricting the electronic access to the digital content;
- and
- sending a second offer to extend the electronic access to the digital content past the geographical borders in return for receiving a payment within a specified amount of time.
A non-transitory machine-readable medium comprising instructions which, in response to execution by a computer system, cause the computer system to perform operations comprising:
- receiving data corresponding to a physical location of a device associated with a user;
- determining whether the device is located within a proximity of a place having a physical location with geographical borders;
- determining whether the physical location of the device is within the geographical borders of the physical location of the place;
- in response to determining that the physical location of the user is within the geographical borders of the physical location of the place, ascertaining whether digital content is available within the geographical borders of the physical location of the place;
- upon ascertaining that the digital content is available, sending a first offer to an account associated with the user to display the digital content to the device associated with the user;
- receiving a response to the offer;
- analyzing the response to determine whether the offer was accepted;
- in response to determining that the user has accepted the offer, granting the user electronic access to the digital content, the digital content being accessible only while the physical location of the device associated with the user is within the geographical borders of the physical location of the place;
- periodically monitoring the physical location of the user;
- in response to receiving an indication that the user is outside the geographical borders associated with the physical location, restricting the electronic access to the digital content;
- and
- sending a second offer to extend the electronic access to the digital content past the geographical borders in return for receiving a payment within a specified amount of time.
