System and method for reducing data presentation delays

A system comprising:

• one or more processors programmed to execute one or more computer program instructions that, when executed, cause the one or more processors to:
• receive a request for presentation related to a value;
• perform, based on the request, a set of queries for data related to the value, wherein the set of queries comprise (i) a first subset of queries performed based on the request and (ii) one or more other subsets of queries performed based on the request;
• receive, based on the first subset of queries, subsets of data for calculating the value;
• predict the value based on the subsets of data,
• wherein the prediction of the value is performed before one or more other subsets of data for calculating the value are received, and
• wherein the one or more other subsets of data are received based on the one or more other subsets of queries;
• and
• provide the predicted value for presentation of the predicted value.

A method of reducing data presentation delay resulting from network-related delays, the method being implemented by a computer system that includes one or more processors executing computer program instructions that, when executed, perform the method, the method comprising:

• receiving a request for presentation related to a value;
• performing, based on the request, a set of queries for data related to the value, wherein the set of queries comprise (i) a first subset of queries performed based on the request and (ii) one or more other subsets of queries performed based on the request;
• receiving, based on the first subset of queries, subsets of data for calculating the value;
• and
• predicting the value based on the subsets of data,
• wherein the prediction of the value is performed before one or more other subsets of data for calculating the value are received, and
• wherein the one or more other subsets of data are received based on the one or more other subsets of queries.
