Digital Asset Management System (DAMS)

A computer-implemented method comprising the following operations performed by at least one processor:

• determining whether a client device is connected to a network;
• identifying client assets to be synchronized and server assets to be synchronized when the client device is connected to the network, the client assets being stored at a client memory, the server assets being stored at a database;
• determining a synchronization setting for the client assets and the server assets, each synchronization setting being based on user input;
• downloading the client assets to the database when the synchronization setting associated with the client assets has not been met, wherein if a client asset is associated with an exclusion flag it is not downloaded;
• and
• downloading the server assets to the client memory when the synchronization setting associated with the server assets has not been met, wherein if a server asset is associated with an exclusion flag, it is not downloaded.

An apparatus, comprising:

• a storage device that stores a set of instructions;
• and
• at least one processor coupled to the storage device, the set of instructions configuring the at least one processor to:
• determine whether a client device is connected to a network;
• identify client assets to be synchronized and server assets to be synchronized when the client device is connected to the network, the client assets being stored at a client memory, the server assets being stored at a database;
• determine a synchronization setting for the client assets and the server assets, each synchronization setting being based on user input;
• download the client assets to the database when the synchronization setting associated with the client assets has not been met, wherein if a client asset is associated with an exclusion flag, it is not downloaded;
• and
• download the server assets to the client memory when the synchronization setting associated with the server assets has not been met, wherein if a server asset is associated with an exclusion flag, it is not downloaded.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium that stores instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to:

• determine whether a client device is connected to a network;
• identify client assets to be synchronized and server assets to be synchronized when the client device is connected to the network, the client assets being stored at a client memory, the server assets being stored at a database;
• determine a synchronization setting for the client assets and the server assets, each synchronization setting being based on user input;
• download the client assets to the database when the synchronization setting associated with the client assets has not been met, wherein if a client asset is associated with an exclusion flag, it is not downloaded;
• and
• download the server assets to the client memory when the synchronization setting associated with the server assets has not been met, wherein if a server assets is associated with an exclusion flag, it is not downloaded.
