Abstract
A method includes: collecting a stream attribute associated with each of a plurality of streams to a non-volatile memory; storing the stream attribute in a repository; and selecting a victim stream among the plurality of streams based on the stream attribute. The stream attribute can be one or more of a time stamp, an updated frequency, and an amount of data written to each of the plurality of streams.

A method comprising:
- collecting a stream attribute associated with each of a plurality of streams to a non-volatile memory;
- storing the stream attribute in a repository;
- and
- selecting a victim stream among the plurality of streams based on the stream attribute.

- a host;

- a multi-stream interface configured to interface between the host and the non-volatile memory;

- a victim-stream selection logic configured to:
- collect a stream attribute associated with each of a plurality of streams to the non-volatile memory;

- select a victim stream among the plurality of streams based on the stream attribute.
