Touch sensor controller

A touch sensor controller, comprising:

• an analog circuit comprising:
• a transmitter configured to output a driving signal to sensor lines of a touch panel, and
• a receiver configured to detect a charge generated in the sensor lines to generate an analog signal;
• and
• a logic circuit configured to:
• operate the analog circuit in one of a normal mode and a noise mode according to a magnitude of a noise signal introduced into the sensor lines,
• control the receiver to detect the charge of the sensor lines using a mutual-capacitance method in the normal mode, and
• control the receiver to detect the charge of the sensor lines using a self-capacitance method in the noise mode.

A touch sensor controller, comprising:

• a transmitter configured to output a driving signal to sensor lines of a touch panel;
• and
• a receiver configured to detect a charge generated in the sensor lines by a touch input to generate an analog signal,
• wherein, based on a magnitude of a noise signal introduced into the sensor lines being greater than a predetermined reference value, the transmitter stops outputting the driving signal, and the receiver detects the noise signal and the charge generated in the sensor lines by the touch input to generate the analog signal.
