Abstract
Provided are a novel synthesis technique for producing a metal promoted aluminosilicate zeolite have a small pore framework and methods of using the same.

A method of synthesizing a metal promoted aluminosilicate zeolite catalyst having a small pore framework comprising the step of reacting a synthesis gel comprising at least one promoter metal containing zeolite, a structure directing agent (SDA) and an optional additional silica source at a temperature of at least about 100° C. until crystals of the small pore framework zeolite catalyst form.
The method of claim 17, wherein the at least one promoter metal containing zeolite comprises two or more promoter metal containing zeolites Y.
A method of synthesizing a metal promoted aluminosilicate zeolite catalyst having a small pore framework comprising the step of reacting a synthesis gel comprising:
- (a) at least one promoter metal containing zeolite or a promoter metal source, (b) at least one zeolite, (c) a structure directing agent (SDA), and an optional additional silica source at a temperature of at least about 100° C. until crystals of the small pore framework zeolite catalyst form.
