## Abstract

A computer-implemented method and system are provided for managing interventional radiology. The method and system store in memory a plurality of data entry sheets and structured report templates corresponding to different interventional radiology (IR) procedures, wherein each data entry sheet includes IR data entry fields concerning IR procedural data and patient data. The method and system determines a procedure designator that designates a particular IR procedure, presents at least one data entry sheet corresponding to the particular IR procedure, collects IR data through the IR data entry fields of the presented at least one data entry sheet, identifies a particular structured report template corresponding to the particular IR procedure, and imports the collected IR data into corresponding fields of the particular structured report template to create a patient-procedure specific structured report. Other aspects are described and claimed.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, further comprising:
receiving a class designator designating the class of IR procedures;
in response to the class designator, displaying a list of candidate IR procedures that correspond to the class of IR procedures designated by the class designator; and
selecting the procedure designator from the displayed list of candidate IR procedures.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein:
the procedure designator designates an angiogram as the particular IR procedure; and
the at least one data entry sheet includes an angiogram region that is configured and formatted to receive information regarding angiograms.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein:
the final structured report includes a text reporting region that contains a narrative description of the particular IR procedure, the narrative description comprising a plurality of standardized statements; and
the method further comprises modifying one or more of the plurality of standardized statements based on the collected IR data.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein:
the patient-procedure specific structured report includes an anatomical atlas corresponding to a vascular district associated with the particular IR procedure; and
the method further comprises modifying the anatomical atlas.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, further comprising:
presenting an option list that includes a list of at least one of interventional tools, interventional actions, vascular clinical conditions, or pharmaceutical agents available for use during the particular IR procedure;
receiving a user selection from the presented option list; and
recording an IR data entry field based on the user selection from the presented option list.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the plurality of structured report templates includes at least one of:
A) an anatomical atlas library having a plurality of anatomical atlases that correspond to separate and distinct vascular districts of interest, the plurality of anatomical atlases being non-patient specific; and
B) at least one catalog that includes a plurality option lists of at least one of interventional tools, interventional actions, vascular clinical conditions, or pharmaceutical agents available for use during the different IR procedures.

### Claim 12

A computer system for managing an interventional radiology, comprising:
memory storing program instructions and a plurality of structured report templates and data entry sheets corresponding to different interventional radiology (IR) procedures; and
a processor configured to execute the program instructions to:
receive a procedure designator designating a particular IR procedure;
present at least one data entry sheet corresponding to the particular IR procedure;
collect IR data through the IR data entry fields of the presented at least one data entry sheet;
identify particular structured report template corresponding to the particular IR procedure; and
import the collected IR data into corresponding fields of the particular structured report template to create a patient-procedure specific structured report.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The computer system of claim 12, wherein:
correspondence between the particular structured report template and the particular IR procedure is based on the procedure designator.
