Abstract
The present invention relates to a N-phenyl-N′-phenoxycarbonyl-phenylsulfonhydrazide derivative with excellent inhibitory activity on PGE2 production, a method for preparing the same and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same as an active ingredient. The present N-phenyl-N′-phenoxycarbonyl-phenylsulfonhydrazide derivative may be used effectively for preventing or treating inflammation, arthritis, high fever, pain, cancer, stroke or bone disease.
Claims11
A N-phenyl-N′-phenoxycarbonyl-phenylsulfonhydrazide derivative of the following formula (I) or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof:
- wherein,
- R1 is hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl or C1-C6 alkoxy,
- R2 is C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 alkoxy, halogen, C1-C6 haloalkyl or aryl,
- R3 is hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl or C1-C6 alkoxy,
- R4 is hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl or C1-C6 alkoxy,
- R5 is hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl or C1-C6 alkoxy, and
- R6 is hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 alkoxy or aryloxy, or
- R5 and R6 are taken together with the carbon atom to which they are attached to form a 4 to 7-membered hydrocarbon ring.
A method for preparing a N-phenyl-N′-phenoxycarbonyl-phenylsulfonhydrazide derivative of the following formula (I) comprising a step of reacting a compound of the following formula (II) with a compound of the following formula (III):
- wherein,
- R1 is hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl or C1-C6 alkoxy,
- R2 is C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 alkoxy, halogen, C1-C6 haloalkyl or aryl,
- R3 is hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl or C1-C6 alkoxy,
- R4 is hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl or C1-C6 alkoxy,
- R5 is hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl or C1-C6 alkoxy, and
- R6 is hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 alkoxy or aryloxy, or
- R5 and R6 are taken together with the carbon atom to which they are attached to form a 4 to 7-membered hydrocarbon ring.
