Abstract
A vehicle production assembly includes a discontinuous conveyor system to support a vehicle. The conveyor system includes a first side conveyor chain, a second side conveyor chain, and a plurality of middle conveyor chains longitudinally spaced between the first and second conveyor chains. The conveyor chains can be mechanically synchronized with a single motor.

A vehicle production assembly comprises a conveyor system configured to support a vehicle, wherein the conveyor system comprises at least three conveyor chains laterally aligned with each other, wherein a middle conveyor chain of the at least three conveyor chains comprises a shorter length than another conveyor chain.
A vehicle production assembly comprises a discontinuous conveyor system configured to support a vehicle, wherein the conveyor system comprises a middle conveyor chain positioned laterally between a first side conveyor chain and a second side conveyor chain, wherein the middle conveyor chain terminates upstream relative to the first and second side conveyor chains.
