## Abstract

Provided herein are display systems and units, including those configured for dynamic communication in a physical location, such as in retail settings. Also included herein are methods for dynamically displaying product information in a physical location, such as a retail setting.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method for dynamically displaying product information in a physical location to a person physically located at the location, the method comprising:
providing a first display unit and a first sensor disposed within a housing at the location;
receiving a first sensor output signal from the sensor, the first sensor output signal conveying information regarding a first sensor state of the first sensor;
determining the first sensor state based on the received output signal from the first sensor;
determining an association between the first sensor and the first display unit by performing a correlation using the first sensor output signal wherein the first display unit is included among a plurality of display units in communication with a controller;
retrieving display information wherein at least a first subset of the display information is associated with the first sensor;
providing the display information to the first display unit; and
displaying at least the first subset of the display information using the first display unit.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, further comprising:
transmitting the display information from the first display unit to a second display unit disposed within the housing at the location;
displaying at least a second subset of the display information using the second display unit.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, further comprising:
providing a second sensor at the location;
receiving a second sensor output signal from the second sensor, the second sensor output signal conveying information regarding a second sensor state of the second sensor and an identifier associated with the second sensor;
determining the second sensor state based on the received second output signal from the second sensor wherein at least the second subset of the display information is associated with the second sensor state.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, further comprising
providing a second sensor at the location;
receiving a second sensor output signal from the second sensor, the second sensor output signal including an identifier associated with the second sensor;
determining, using the second sensor output signal, an association between the second sensor and a second display unit disposed at the location;
displaying at least a second subset of the display information using the second display unit.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1 wherein the first display unit includes a first high aspect ratio display and a second high aspect ratio display, the first subset of the display information spanning the first high aspect ratio display and the second high aspect ratio display.

### Claim 6 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2 wherein the first display unit includes a first high aspect ratio display and a second high aspect ratio display and wherein the second display unit includes a third high aspect ratio display and a fourth high aspect ratio display, the first subset of the display information spanning the first high aspect ratio display and the second high aspect ratio display and the second subset of the display information spanning the third high aspect ratio display and the fourth high aspect ratio display.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the first sensor output signal is indicative of whether or not a person is present.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the first sensor is a camera or a motion detector.

### Claim 9

A method for dynamically displaying product information, the method comprising:
providing a first display unit and a first sensor at a location;
receiving a first sensor output signal from the sensor;
determining an association between the first sensor and the first display unit using the first sensor output signal wherein the first display unit is included among a plurality of display units in communication with a controller;
retrieving display information wherein at least a first subset of the display information is associated with the first sensor output signal;
providing the display information to the first display unit;
displaying at least the first subset of the display information using the first display unit;
transmitting the display information from the first display unit to a second display unit disposed at the location; and
displaying at least a second subset of the display information using the second display unit.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The method of claim 9, further comprising:
providing a second sensor at the location;
receiving a second sensor output signal from the second sensor wherein at least the second subset of the display information is associated with the second sensor output signal.

### Claim 11 (depends on 9)

The method of claim 9, further comprising
providing a second sensor at the location;
receiving a second sensor output signal from the second sensor, the second sensor output signal including an identifier associated with the second sensor;
determining, using the second sensor output signal, an association between the second sensor and the second display unit.

### Claim 12 (depends on 9)

The method of claim 9 wherein the first display unit includes a first high aspect ratio display and a second high aspect ratio display, the first subset of the display information spanning the first high aspect ratio display and the second high aspect ratio display.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The method of claim 12 wherein the second display unit includes a third high aspect ratio display and a fourth high aspect ratio display, the second subset of the display information spanning the third high aspect ratio display and the fourth high aspect ratio display.

### Claim 14 (depends on 9)

The method of claim 9, wherein the first sensor output signal is indicative of whether or not a person is present.

### Claim 15 (depends on 9)

The method of claim 9, wherein the first sensor is a camera or a motion detector.

### Claim 16 (depends on 9)

The method of claim 9 further including determining the first sensor output signal is indicative of a first sensor state of the first sensor, the first sensor state being included among a plurality of sensor states of the first sensor.
