## Abstract

The invention relates to a line termination element (4) for a ventilation outlet of a fluid container (5), having a main body (2) which is formed as a closure element for a free end (3) of the ventilation outlet and which is cross-sectionally matched to the cross section of the ventilation outlet, comprising at least one flow passage as an insect barrier, which flow passage is smaller than a mouth cross section (17) of the ventilation outlet, and also at least one valve body (10), which, in a first position, closes off the mouth cross section (17) of the ventilation outlet and, in a second position, opens up the mouth cross section (17) of the ventilation outlet.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A line termination element (4) for a ventilation outlet of a fluid container (5), having a main body (6) which is formed as a closure element for a free end of the ventilation outlet (3) and which is cross-sectionally matched to the cross section of the ventilation outlet, comprising at least one flow passage as an insect barrier, which flow passage is smaller than a mouth cross section (17) of the ventilation outlet, and also at least one valve body (10), which, in a first position, closes off the mouth cross section (17) of the ventilation outlet and which, in a second position, opens up the mouth cross section (17) of the ventilation outlet.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The line termination element (4) as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the main body (6) is formed as a closure cap for the free end of the ventilation outlet.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1, 2)

The line termination element (4) as claimed in either of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the main body (6) surrounds a receiving space (7) for the free end of the ventilation outlet (3), and a valve chamber (9).

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The line termination element (4) as claimed in claim 3, characterized in that the valve body (10) delimits the receiving space (7) for the free end of the ventilation outlet (3).

### Claim 5 (depends on 3, 4)

The line termination element (4) as claimed in claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the valve body (10) delimits the valve chamber (9) in the direction of the receiving space (7) for the free end of the ventilation outlet (3).

### Claim 6 (depends on 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)

The line termination element (4) as claimed in one of claims 1-5, characterized in that the main body (10) has, as insect barrier, a multiplicity of flow passages which are preferably formed as circumferentially at least partially encircling slots (8).

### Claim 7 (depends on 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

The line termination element (4) as claimed in one of claims 1-6, characterized in that the valve body (10) is formed as a mushroom valve having a flexible valve shield (11) and a shaft (12), wherein, in the first position, the valve shield (11) covers the mouth cross section (17) of the ventilation outlet.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The line termination element (4) as claimed in claim 7, characterized in that the valve shield (11) and the shaft (12) are formed integrally.

### Claim 9 (depends on 5, 6, 7, 8)

The line termination element (4) as claimed in one of claims 5-8, characterized in that the receiving space (7) for the free end of the ventilation outlet (3) has enclosure walls which have, projecting into the receiving space (7), locking depressions which interact with corresponding locking depressions of the ventilation outlet.

### Claim 10 (depends on 7, 8, 9)

The line termination element (4) as claimed in one of claims 7-9, characterized in that the shaft (12) of the valve body (10) passes through an end-side opening (15) of the main body (6).

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The line termination element (4) as claimed in claim 10, characterized in that the main body (6) has an external, end-side depression which is formed as a blind hole (13) and which has a base (14) in which the opening (15) for receiving the shaft (12) of the valve body (10) is provided.

### Claim 12

A fluid container (5) composed of thermoplastic having at least one ventilation outlet, comprising a line termination element (4) having a main body (6) which is formed as a closure element for a free end of the ventilation outlet (3) and which is cross-sectionally matched to the cross section of the ventilation outlet, comprising at least one flow passage as an insect barrier, which flow passage is smaller than a mouth cross section (17) of the ventilation outlet, and also at least one valve body (10), which, in a first position, closes off the mouth cross section (17) of the ventilation outlet and which, in a second position, opens up the mouth cross section (17) of the ventilation outlet.
