## Abstract

A filtration filter includes a porous metal film that filters out a filtration object contained in a fluid, and a support base member that is disposed on at least one main surface of the porous metal film and that supports the porous metal film. The support base member has an opening that exposes a part of the porous metal film. An inner peripheral surface of the opening has undulations formed along its periphery.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A filtration filter, comprising:
a porous metal film for filtering out a filtration object contained in a fluid; and
a support base member disposed on at least one main surface of the porous metal film, the support base member supporting the porous metal film, the support base member having an opening that exposes a part of the porous metal film, an inner peripheral surface of the opening being undulated.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The filtration filter according to claim 1, wherein the undulations are formed at least in a portion of the support base member that is in contact with the porous metal film.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The filtration filter according to claim 1, wherein:
the porous metal film lies in a plane;
the undulations have ridges and troughs that are alternately arranged, and
the ridges and the troughs extend in a direction to the plane in which the porous metal film lies.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The filtration filter according to claim 3, wherein pitches of the ridges and the troughs are each smaller than an average particle size of the filtration object.

### Claim 5 (depends on 3)

The filtration filter according to claim 3, wherein pitches of the ridges and the troughs are each smaller than or equal to a pitch of through-holes that are formed in the porous metal film to filter out the filtration object.

### Claim 6 (depends on 3)

The filtration filter according to claim 3, wherein the troughs are located at positions corresponding to though-holes that are formed in the porous metal film to filter out the filtration object.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

A filtration filter device comprising:
the filtration filter according to claim 1; and
a housing in which the filtration filter is disposed, the housing having a fluid inlet path that faces one main surface of the filtration filter and a fluid outlet path that faces the other main surface of the filtration filter.

### Claim 8

A method for forming a filtration filter, comprising:
forming a porous metal film, and
forming a support base on at least one main surface of the porous metal film such that the support base member has an opening that exposes part of the porous metal film, an inner peripheral surface of the opening being undulated.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

A method for forming a filtration filter according to claim 8, wherein the undulations are formed at least in a portion of the support base member that is in contact with the porous metal film.

### Claim 10 (depends on 8)

A method for forming a filtration filter according to claim 8, wherein the undulations include ridges and troughs that are alternately arranged and extend in a direction perpendicular to a plane in which the porous metal film lies.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

A method for forming a filtration filter according to claim 10, wherein the pitches of the ridges and the troughs are each preferably smaller than an average particle size of the filtration object.

### Claim 12 (depends on 10)

A method for forming a filtration filter according to claim 10, wherein the pitches of the ridges and the troughs are each preferably smaller than or equal to a pitch of through-holes that are formed in the porous metal film to filter out the filtration object.

### Claim 13 (depends on 10)

A method for forming a filtration filter according to claim 10, wherein the troughs are preferably located at positions corresponding to though-holes that are formed in the porous metal film to filter out the filtration object.

### Claim 14 (depends on 1)

A method of filtering a filtration object contained in a fluid, the method comprising passing the fluid trough a filter having the structure of claim 1.

### Claim 15 (depends on 2)

A method of filtering a filtration object contained in a fluid, the method comprising passing the fluid trough a filter having the structure of claim 2.

### Claim 16 (depends on 3)

A method of filtering a filtration object contained in a fluid, the method comprising passing the fluid trough a filter having the structure of claim 3.

### Claim 17 (depends on 4)

A method of filtering a filtration object contained in a fluid, the method comprising passing the fluid trough a filter having the structure of claim 4.

### Claim 18 (depends on 5)

A method of filtering a filtration object contained in a fluid, the method comprising passing the fluid trough a filter having the structure of claim 5.

### Claim 19 (depends on 6)

A method of filtering a filtration object contained in a fluid, the method comprising passing the fluid trough a filter having the structure of claim 6.
