## Abstract

Garments, garment systems, and methods of using garments and garments systems useful for warming and protecting the body, especially the upper body. A garment may be a sleeved partial undergarment accessory that may be worn under an outer garment and may be removed without requiring removal of the outer garment. A garment may include first and second tubular sleeves with a continuous front region extending between the sleeves and from a neck opening down to a torso opening, a continuous back region extending between the sleeves and from the neck opening down to the torso opening. The opening extends from and is continuous with a distal-most region of the proximal sleeve openings so that the front region and the back region do not connect to each other around the first and second sleeve openings.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method of forming a double shirt arrangement, the method comprising:
placing, on a wearer, an outer shirt including at least an outer shirt neck edge defining an outer shirt neck opening, an outer shirt torso edge defining an outer shirt torso opening, and distal-most first and second outer shirt arm edges defining first and second outer shirt arm openings, wherein placing the outer shirt includes placing the outer shirt such that the neck opening surrounds a neck of the wearer and such that first and second arms of the wearer extend through the first and second outer shirt arm openings; and
placing, on the wearer, a unitary sleeved partial undershirt separate from the outer shirt and configured for ease of wearing beneath the outer shirt, wherein the unitary sleeved partial undershirt includes:
tubular first and second sleeves each having a respective proximal end and a respective distal end, each having a tubular construction between its proximal and distal ends that is void of any fastener, and each having a length of at least 12 inches, wherein, when the sleeved partial undershirt is worn under the outer shirt, the distal ends of the first and second sleeves extend through and beyond the first and second outer shirt arm openings, respectively, such that a double shirt arrangement with a sleeved base layer is provided;
a yoke including a front yoke portion, a back yoke portion, an undershirt neck edge defining an undershirt neck opening, and an undershirt torso opening edge defining an undershirt torso opening, wherein the yoke extends continuously and non-separably between the first and second sleeves, and wherein a distance between the undershirt neck edge and the undershirt torso opening edge at both the front yoke portion and the back yoke portion is in the range between 1.5 and 8 inches.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the placing of the unitary sleeved partial undershirt is performed prior to the placing of the outer shirt.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the placing of the unitary sleeved partial undershirt is performed after the placing of the outer shirt.

### Claim 4

A method of forming a garment system, comprising:
placing, on a wearer, an outer shirt including at least an outer shirt neck edge defining an outer shirt neck opening, an outer shirt torso edge defining an outer shirt torso opening, and distal-most first and second outer shirt arm edges defining first and second outer shirt arm openings, wherein placing the outer shirt includes placing the outer shirt such that the neck opening surrounds a neck of the wearer and such that first and second arms of the wearer extend through the first and second outer shirt arm openings; and
placing, on a wearer, a unitary sleeved partial undershirt separate from the outer shirt and configured for ease of wearing beneath the outer shirt, wherein the unitary sleeved partial undershirt includes:
tubular first and second sleeves each having a respective proximal end and a respective distal end, each having a tubular construction between its proximal and distal ends that is void of any fastener, and each having a length of at least 12 inches, wherein, when the sleeved partial undershirt is worn under the outer shirt, the distal ends of the first and second sleeves extend through and beyond the first and second outer shirt arm openings, respectively;
a yoke including a front yoke portion, a back yoke portion, an undershirt neck edge defining an undershirt neck opening, and an undershirt torso opening edge defining an undershirt torso opening, wherein the yoke extends continuously and non-separably between the first and second sleeves, and wherein a distance between the undershirt neck edge and the undershirt torso opening edge at both the front yoke portion and the back yoke portion is in the range between 1.5 and 8 inches, wherein the undershirt torso opening is asymmetrical such that points of the proximal ends of the first and second sleeves that are distal-most from the undershirt neck opening are on back portions of the first and second sleeves.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The method of claim 4, wherein the placing of the unitary sleeved partial undershirt is performed prior to the placing of the outer shirt.

### Claim 6 (depends on 4)

The method of claim 4, wherein the placing of the unitary sleeved partial undershirt is performed after the placing of the outer shirt.

### Claim 7

A method of forming a garment system, comprising:
with a unitary sleeved partial undershirt configured for ease of wearing beneath the outer shirt, the unitary sleeved partial undershirt including:
tubular first and second sleeves each having a respective proximal end and a respective distal end, each having a tubular construction between its proximal and distal ends that is void of any fastener, and each having a length of at least 12 inches; and
a yoke including a front yoke portion, a back yoke portion, an undershirt neck edge defining an undershirt neck opening, and an undershirt torso opening edge defining an undershirt torso opening, wherein the yoke extends continuously and non-separably between the first and second sleeves, and wherein a distance between the undershirt neck edge and the undershirt torso opening edge at both a front portion and a back portion of the yoke is in the range between 1.5 and 8 inches, wherein the undershirt torso opening is asymmetrical such that points of the proximal ends of the first and second sleeves that are distal-most from the undershirt neck opening are on back portions of the first and second sleeves:
placing the first sleeve on a first arm of a wearer and urging the first sleeve through a first outer shirt arm opening of an outer shirt;
placing the second sleeve on a second arm of the wearer and urging the second sleeve through a second outer shirt arm opening of the outer shirt; and
urging a head of the wearer through the undershirt neck opening.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The method of claim 7, wherein the placing of the first and second sleeves is performed prior to the wearer placing on the outer shirt.

### Claim 9 (depends on 7)

The method of claim 7, wherein the placing of the first and second sleeves is performed after the wearer places on the outer shirt.
