Abstract
In a proximity service, when positional information is notifies to a server in advance and the proximity service is started, UE that transmits and receives data receives the proximity degree including a communication target UE from the server before proximity discovery is performed to discover the communication target UE, and the UE controls unnecessary proximity discovery by discovering the communication target UE based on the proximity degree.
Claims12
A User Equipment (UE) comprising:
- transmitting and receiving circuitry that:
- transmits location information of the UE to a ProSe Server having a function of detecting that the UE and another UE are in proximity, and
- receives a control message from the ProSe Server;
- and
- a controller that detects that the another UE is in proximity with the UE, based on the control message, wherein
- the control message includes identification information regarding the another UE, and
- the control message is transmitted for each application.
A ProSe Server comprising:
- transmitting and receiving circuitry that:
- receives, from a User Equipment (UE), location information of the UE,
- receives, from another UE, location information of the another UE, and
- transmits a control message to the UE;
- and
- a controller that detects that the UE and the another UE are in proximity, wherein
- the control message includes identification information regarding the another UE,
- the control message is transmitted for each application, and
- the control message is used for the UE to detect that the another UE is in proximity to the UE.
A communication method used by a User Equipment (UE), the communication method comprising:
- transmitting location information of the UE to a ProSe Server having a function of detecting that the UE and another UE are in proximity;
- receiving a control message from the ProSe Server;
- and
- detecting that the another UE is in proximity to the UE, based on the control message, wherein
- the control message includes identification information regarding the another UE, and
- the control message is transmitted for each application.
A communication method used by a Core Network, the communication method comprising:
- receiving, from a User Equipment (UE), location information of the UE;
- receiving, from another UE, location information of the another UE;
- detecting that the UE and the another UE are in proximity;
- and
- transmitting a control message to the UE, wherein
- the control message includes identification information regarding the another UE,
- the control message is transmitted for each application, and
- the control message is used for the UE to detect that the another UE is in proximity to the UE.
