Abstract
The present invention proposes a method for transmitting a broadcast signal. The method for transmitting a broadcast signal according to the present invention proposes a system which may support a next generation broadcast service, in an environment supporting next generation hybrid broadcast that uses a terrestrial broadcast network and an internet network. Further, the present invention proposes an efficient signaling method which can cover both the terrestrial broadcast network and the internet network, in an environment supporting next generation hybrid broadcast.

A method of processing service data, the method comprising:
- generating service data of a broadcast service and first signaling data for signaling the service data, the first signaling data including session identification information for identifying a transport session of a transport protocol, through which the service data is transmitted, and an identifier of a transport channel transmitted in the transport session;
- generating second signaling data including location information for obtaining the first signaling data;
- generating data units including the service data and the first signaling data;
- and
- generating a transport frame including the data units and L1 signaling information for signaling the data units, the transport frame including the second signaling data;
- and
- transmitting the transport frame.
An apparatus for processing service data, the apparatus comprising:
- a first module configured to generate service data of a broadcast service and first signaling data for signaling the service data, the first signaling data including access information for acquiring the service data, the first signaling data including session identification information for identifying a transport session of a transport protocol, through which the service data is transmitted, and an identifier of a transport channel transmitted in the transport session, and the first module generating second signaling data including location information for obtaining the first signaling data;
- a second module configured to generate data units including the service data and the first signaling data;
- and
- a third module configured to generate a transport frame including the data units and L1 signaling information for signaling the data units and to transmit the transport frame, the transport frame including the second signaling data.
