Abstract
The present invention provides a method and device for reducing interference. By using correlation of a modulation signal, interference between intra-frequency cells can be reduced, and downlink receiving performance can be improved, thereby improving performance of a communications system.
Claims9
A device for sending a modulation signal on a broadcast control channel (BCCH) carrier to reduce interference, the device comprising:
- a processor, configured to determine a timeslot for sending a modulation signal;
- and
- a transmitter, in communication with the processor and configured to send the modulation signal in the determined timeslot, wherein
- an autocorrelation metric value of the modulation signal is greater than a first threshold.
A method for sending a modulation signal on a broadcast control channel (BCCH) carrier to reduce interference, wherein the method is used in a scenario in which a primary BCCH is multiplexed, the method comprising:
- determining a timeslot for sending a modulation signal;
- and
- sending the modulation signal in the determined timeslot, wherein
- an autocorrelation metric value of the modulation signal is greater than a first threshold.
