Abstract
A battery pack includes a battery and a battery manager. The battery includes a plurality of battery cells. The battery manager includes a mode receiver that receives signals from an electronic device through an input terminal. The signals are indicative of respective modes of operation of the electronic device.
Claims16
A battery pack, comprising:
- a battery including a plurality of battery cells;
- and
- a battery manager to manage the battery, wherein the battery manager includes a mode receiver to receive signals from an electronic device through a same input terminal, the signals indicative of respective modes of operation of the electronic device.
A battery manager, comprising:
- a receiver to receive a signal from an external device;
- and
- a controller to control operation of the external device based on the signal received by the receiver, wherein the signal is indicative of one of a plurality of modes of operation of the external device and wherein the controller is to control operation of the external device to based on the signal.
