Abstract
A method for producing a display device includes locating a substrate, including a plurality of pixels, on a jig including a magnet; locating a plate formed of a magnetic material on the substrate to secure the substrate; and folding back an end portion of the substrate in a state where the substrate is held between the jig and the plate.

A method for producing a display device, comprising:
- locating a substrate, including a plurality of pixels, on a jig including a magnet;
- locating a plate formed of a magnetic material on the substrate to secure the substrate by a magnetic force;
- and
- folding back an end portion of the substrate in a state where the substrate is held between the jig and the plate.

A method for producing a display device, comprising:
- locating a substrate, including a plurality of pixels, on a jig including a magnet;
- locating a plate formed of a magnetic material on the substrate such that a part of the substrate is exposed through an opening provided in the plate, thereby securing the substrate by a magnetic force;
- inspecting the exposed part of the substrate in a state where the substrate is held between the jig and the plate.
A display device, comprising:
- a substrate including a portion folded back with a first surface of the substrate being an inner surface;
- a plurality of pixels provided on a second surface opposite to the first surface of the substrate;
- and
- a first marker and a second marker provided on the second surface so as to overlap each other as seen in a plan view.
