Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for receiving a first message, the first message including information associated with an invoice. Obtaining an invoice number assigned to the invoice based on the information. Obtaining a vehicle identifier based on the invoice number. Registering a device for electronic payment of toll fees at least partially based on the vehicle identifier. Transmitting a request for payment of at least a toll fee that is identified in the invoice.
Claims10
A computer-implemented method executed by one or more processors for collecting toll fee for use of a toll road facility, the method comprising:
- receiving, by the one or more processors, a first message, the first message comprising information associated with an invoice;
- obtaining, by the one or more processors, an invoice number assigned to the invoice based on the information;
- obtaining, by the one or more processors, a vehicle identifier based on the invoice number;
- registering, by the one or more processors, a device for electronic payment of toll fees at least partially based on the vehicle identifier;
- and
- transmitting, by the one or more processors, a request for payment of at least a toll fee that is identified in the invoice.
A computer-readable storage device coupled to one or more processors and having instructions stored thereon which, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
- receiving a first message, the first message comprising information associated with an invoice;
- obtaining an invoice number assigned to the invoice based on the information;
- obtaining a vehicle identifier based on the invoice number;
- registering a device for electronic payment of toll fees at least partially based on the vehicle identifier;
- and
- transmitting a request for payment of at least a toll fee that is identified in the invoice.
A system, comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- a computer-readable storage medium in communication with the one or more processors and having instructions stored thereon which, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
- receiving a first message, the first message comprising information associated with an invoice;
- obtaining an invoice number assigned to the invoice based on the information;
- obtaining a vehicle identifier based on the invoice number;
- registering a device for electronic payment of toll fees at least partially based on the vehicle identifier;
- and
- transmitting a request for payment of at least a toll fee that is identified in the invoice.
