Abstract
A computer-implemented method, computer program product, and computing system for receiving a unique identifier on a client electronic device. The unique identifier is associated with at least one IT component. Status information is obtained concerning the at least one IT component. A visual representation of the at least one IT component is generated on a display screen of the client electronic device. A graphical representation of the status information is superimposed onto the visual representation of the at least one IT component.
Claims21
A computer-implemented method, executed on a computing device, comprising:
- receiving a unique identifier on a client electronic device;
- associating the unique identifier with at least one IT component;
- obtaining status information concerning the at least one IT component;
- generating a visual representation of the at least one IT component on a display screen of the client electronic device;
- and
- superimposing a graphical representation of the status information onto the visual representation of the at least one IT component.
A computer program product residing on a computer readable medium having a plurality of instructions stored thereon which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising:
- receiving a unique identifier on a client electronic device;
- associating the unique identifier with at least one IT component;
- obtaining status information concerning the at least one IT component;
- generating a visual representation of the at least one IT component on a display screen of the client electronic device;
- and
- superimposing a graphical representation of the status information onto the visual representation of the at least one IT component.
A computing system including a processor and memory configured to perform operations comprising:
- receiving a unique identifier on a client electronic device;
- associating the unique identifier with at least one IT component;
- obtaining status information concerning the at least one IT component;
- generating a visual representation of the at least one IT component on a display screen of the client electronic device;
- and
- superimposing a graphical representation of the status information onto the visual representation of the at least one IT component.
