Abstract
Disclosed are techniques that use mixed reality and/or augmented reality and virtual reality technologies for analysis of retail processes and activity in retail stores. The disclosed techniques use computer implemented techniques that obtain information from various electronic systems/devices in the physical world, which devices are exemplified by security systems, and merge that information into a virtual world of policies and analytics that involve retail systems that generate analytical information regarding customers and their preferences and needs.

A system comprises:
- r.f. detectors that detect presence of r.f. signals;
- a mixed reality system comprising:
- a processor device;
- a memory in communication with the processor device;
- a head mounted display device including a stereoscopic 3D display that renders one or more images of persons within a field of view of the mixed reality system device;
- with the mixed reality system configured to send the images to one or more server computer systems;
- the one or more server computer systems configured to:
- process information from r.f. signals sent from r.f. devices in possession of at least some of the persons in the field of view;
- analyze the processed information and the one or more images to identify at least one of the persons in the field of view;
- access at least one profile corresponding to the at least one identified person;
- and
- classify the one or more persons in the one or more images according to a status.
