Abstract
A method for obtaining a replacement payment card is provided. The method may include receiving a request to replace a payment card associated with a user account. The method may also include transmitting an extended claim pin number to a user device based on receiving the request to replace the payment card. The method may further include enabling a vending facility to issue the replacement payment card to a user based on the user redeeming the transmitted extended claim pin number at the enabled vending facility.
Claims20
A processor-implemented method for obtaining a replacement payment card, the method comprising:
- receiving, by a processor, a request to replace a payment card associated with a user account;
- transmitting an extended claim pin number to a user device based on receiving the request to replace the payment card;
- and
- enabling a vending facility to issue the replacement payment card to a user based on the user redeeming the transmitted extended claim pin number at the enabled vending facility.
A computer system for obtaining a replacement payment card, the computer system comprising:
- one or more processors, one or more computer-readable memories, one or more computer-readable tangible storage medium, and program instructions stored on at least one of the one or more tangible storage medium for execution by at least one of the one or more processors via at least one of the one or more memories, wherein the computer system is capable of performing a method comprising:
- receiving a request to replace a payment card associated with a user account;
- transmitting an extended claim pin number to a user device based on receiving the request to replace the payment card;
- and
- enabling a vending facility to issue the replacement payment card to a user based on the user redeeming the transmitted extended claim pin number at the enabled vending facility.
A computer program product for obtaining a replacement payment card, the computer program product comprising:
- one or more computer-readable tangible storage medium and program instructions stored on at least one of the one or more tangible storage medium, the program instructions executable by a processor, the program instructions comprising:
- receiving a request to replace a payment card associated with a user account;
- transmitting an extended claim pin number to a user device based on receiving the request to replace the payment card;
- and
- enabling a vending facility to issue the replacement payment card to a user based on the user redeeming the transmitted extended claim pin number at the enabled vending facility.
