Abstract
Embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for remote query optimization in multi data sources. The method includes receiving a database query from a remote source requesting data-points from multiple data sources. The method further includes receiving and analyzing the data-points, creating a data set based on the analysis, and transmitting the data set to the remote source.

A computer program product for remote query optimization in multi data sources, the computer program product comprising:
- a computer readable storage medium and program instructions stored on the computer readable storage medium, the program instructions comprising:
- program instructions to receive a database query from a remote source, wherein the query requests one or more groupings of data-points from each of two or more data sources;
- program instructions to receive the one or more groupings of data-points from each of the two or more data sources;
- program instructions to analyze the one or more groupings of data-points from each of the two or more data sources;
- program instructions to create a data set, wherein the data set comprises the analyzed one or more groupings of data-points;
- and
- program instructions to transmit the data set to the remote source.
A computer system for remote query optimization in multi data sources, the computer system comprising:
- one or more computer processors;
- one or more computer readable storage media;
- program instructions stored on the one or more computer readable storage media for execution by at least one of the one or more processors, the program instructions comprising:
- program instructions to receive a database query from a remote source, wherein the query requests one or more groupings of data-points from each of two or more data sources;
- program instructions to receive the one or more groupings of data-points from each of the two or more data sources;
- program instructions to analyze the one or more groupings of data-points from each of the two or more data sources;
- program instructions to create a data set, wherein the data set comprises the analyzed one or more groupings of data-points;
- and
- program instructions to transmit the data set to the remote source.
