Workload identification

A non-transitory machine readable medium having stored thereon instructions for creating a top down flow for a data sample set comprising machine executable code which when executed by at least one machine, causes the machine to:

• apply one or more modeling techniques to a parent data sample set;
• select one of a one or more workload parameters associated with the parent data sample set based on the application of the one or more modeling techniques;
• partition the parent data sample set into two or more child data sample sets based on one or more policies associated with the selected one of the workload parameters associated with the parent data sample set;
• and
• determine a reduction in error associated with each of the two or more child data sample sets.

A computing device comprising:

• a memory containing a machine readable medium comprising machine executable code having stored thereon instructions for performing a method of creating a top down flow for a data sample set;
• and
• a processor coupled to the memory, the processor configured to execute the machine executable code to cause the processor to:
• apply one or more modeling techniques to a parent data sample set;
• select one of a one or more workload parameters associated with the parent data sample set based on the based on the application of the one or more modeling techniques;
• partition the parent data sample set into two or more child data sample sets based on one or more policies associated with the selected one of the workload parameters associated with the parent data sample set;
• and
• determine a reduction in error associated with each of the two or more child data sample sets.
