Display window contextual visualization for application performance monitoring

One or more machine-readable storage media having program code for displaying application performance data stored therein, the program code comprising instructions to:

• collect performance data from an application during display by the application of a first display window;
• collect performance data from the application during display by the application of a second display window;
• and
• simultaneously display, on a display device,
• an image of the first display window that includes a first displayable performance indicator that is visually modifiable to correlate to variations in performance data collected from the application;
• and
• an image of the second display window that includes a second displayable performance indicator that is visually modifiable to correlate to variations in performance data collected from the application.

An apparatus comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a machine-readable medium having program code executable by the processor to cause the apparatus to,
• collect performance data from an application during display by the application of a first display window;
• collect performance data from the application during display by the application of a second display window;
• and
• simultaneously display, on a display device,
• an image of the first display window that includes a first displayable performance indicator that is visually modifiable to correlate to variations in performance data collected from the application;
• and
• an image of the second display window that includes a second displayable performance indicator that is visually modifiable to correlate to variations in performance data collected from the application.
