Streamlined fast and efficient application building and customization systems and methods

A system, comprising:

• at least one processor;
• at least one non-transitory computer-readable medium;
• and
• stored instructions translatable by the at least one processor to perform:
• receiving, via a user interface running on a computing device communicatively connected to the system, a request to build a single use custom application specific to a desktop computing environment;
• preparing a build request containing configuration information for the single use customer custom application;
• communicating the build request to a bonding client, the bonding client running on a workstation, the work station specific to an operating system platform for the desktop computing environment;
• building the single use custom application specific to the operating system platform on the workstation, the building performed by the bonding client running on the workstation, the building comprising executing build scripts with the configuration information for the single use custom application contained in the build request;
• persisting the single use custom application in a storage location accessible by the system;
• and
• responsive to the request to build the single use custom application specific to the desktop computing environment, sending a response to the computing device, the response containing a link to the storage location of the single use custom application.

A computer program product comprising at least one non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions translatable by at least one processor of a system to perform:

• receiving, via a user interface running on a computing device communicatively connected to the system, a request to build a single use custom application specific to a desktop computing environment;
• preparing a build request containing configuration information for the single use custom application;
• communicating the build request to a bonding client, the bonding client running on a workstation, the work station specific to an operating system platform for the desktop computing environment;
• building the single use custom application specific to the operating system platform on the workstation, the building performed by the bonding client running on the workstation, the building comprising executing build scripts with the configuration information for the single use custom application contained in the build request;
• persisting the single use custom application in a storage location accessible by the system;
• and
• responsive to the request to build the single use custom application specific to the desktop computing environment, sending a response to the computing device, the response containing a link to the storage location of the single use custom application.
