Abstract
A paint baking method includes a process for conveying a vehicle body while exposing the vehicle body to a hot air atmosphere to bake a wet coating film applied to the vehicle body. In the vehicle body, hinges and door offset members are attached between hinge fastening parts of the main shell body and hinge fastening parts of the side doors. The distance between the hinge fastening parts of the main shell body and the hinge fastening parts of the side door in a state in which the hinges and the door offset members are attached is longer than a distance between the hinge fastening parts of the main shell body and the hinge fastening parts of the side door in a finished vehicle state.
Claims9
A paint baking method for a vehicle body including a main shell body and a side door, the paint baking method comprising:
- attaching a hinge and a door offset member between a hinge fastening part of the main shell body and a hinge fastening part of the side door so that a distance between the hinge fastening part of the main shell body and the hinge fastening part of the side door in a state in which the hinge and the door offset member are attached is longer than a distance between the hinge fastening part of the main shell body and the hinge fastening part of the side door in a finished vehicle state;
- and
- conveying the vehicle body while exposing the vehicle body to a hot air atmosphere to bake a wet coating film applied to the vehicle body.
A door offset device for vehicle body coating process, comprising a pair of hinge members and a hinge pin,
- wherein a hinge attached between a main shell body and a side door of a vehicle body is configured such that the pair of hinge members is coupled with each other in a rotatable manner via the hinge pin,
- wherein the door offset device is composed of a rectangular flat plate having conductivity or configured such that both end portions of a rectangular flat plate having conductivity are folded,
- wherein, in a finished vehicle state of the vehicle body,
- one of the pair of hinge members is fixed to the main shell body, and
- other of the pair of hinge members is fixed to a hinge fastening part of the side door,
- wherein, in a coating process for the vehicle body,
- one end of the door offset device is fixed to a hinge fastening part of the main shell body and other end of the door offset device is fixed to one of the pair of hinge members, or
- one end of the door offset device is fixed to the hinge fastening part of the side door and other end of the door offset device is fixed to other of the pair of hinge members.
