Abstract
An infusion pump system is disclosed. The infusion pump system includes an infusion pump and a controller device in wireless communication with the infusion pump, wherein the controller including instructions for controlling the infusion pump, wherein the instructions may be synchronized with a secure web portal.

An infusion pump system comprising:
- an infusion pump;
- and
- a controller device in wireless communication with the infusion pump,
- wherein the controller in communication with a secure web portal,
- wherein the secure web portal may contact the controller, and
- wherein if an acknowledgement of the secure web portal contact is not made on the controller the secure web portal contacts an emergency contact.
