Wireless Control Unit Server for Conducting Connectivity Test

A method for testing communications comprising:

• providing, by one or more computing devices of a wireless communication unit in communication with an electronic engine controller, a resource to a remote computing device;
• receiving, by the one or more computing devices, input from the remote computing device via the resource;
• causing, by the one or more computing devices, a connectivity test to be performed in response to the received input;
• and
• transmitting, by the one or more computing devices, a result of the connectivity test to the remote computing device.

An aerial vehicle comprising:

• an electronic engine controller;
• and
• a wireless communication unit in communication with the electronic engine controller, the wireless communication unit comprising:
• one or more memory devices;
• and
• one or more processors configured to:
• provide a resource to a remote computing device;
• receive input from the remote computing device via the resource;
• cause a connectivity test to be performed in response to the received input;
• and
• transmit a result of the connectivity test to the remote computing device.
