Network Control

A method comprising:

• providing access to a wide area network via a plurality of first devices based on a first service set identifier, wherein at least a portion of the plurality of first devices are configured to provide access to respective first local networks based on corresponding second service set identifiers different from the first service set identifier, and wherein the wide area network is managed by a service provider and accessible by users of the service provider based on user credentials;
• providing a second local network from a second device;
• determining, at the second device, wireless signal information for the wide area network transmitted from at least one of the plurality of first devices;
• identifying, based on the wireless signal formation, a coverage gap of the wide area network;
• and
• enabling, by the second device, transmission of a signal comprising the first service set identifier to an area of the coverage gap to facilitate access to the wide area network via the second device in response to the identification of the coverage gap.
