Information transmission method, terminal device, network device, and apparatus

An information transmission method, comprising:

• sending, by a network device, mapping resource indication information, wherein the mapping resource indication information is used to indicate information about a mapping resource allocated to a terminal device for mapping a hybrid automatic repeat request, HARQ, modulation symbol;
• and
• receiving, by the network device, the HARQ modulation symbol on which the terminal device performs resource mapping according to the mapping resource indication information.

A terminal device, comprising:

• a modulation unit, configured to modulate encoded hybrid automatic repeat request, HARQ, information according to a codebook, to generate HARQ modulation symbols, wherein the HARQ modulation symbols comprise at least one non-zero HARQ modulation symbol and at least one zero HARQ modulation symbol, the codebook comprises at least two code words, the code words are multi-dimensional complex vectors, and the code words are used to indicate a mapping relationship between the encoded HARQ information and at least two modulation symbols;
• and
• a sending unit, configured to send the HARQ modulation symbols to a network device.

A network device, comprising:

• a sending unit, configured to send mapping resource indication information, wherein the mapping resource indication information is used to indicate information about a mapping resource allocated to a terminal device for mapping a hybrid automatic repeat request, HARQ, modulation symbol;
• and
• a receiving unit, configured to receive the HARQ modulation symbol on which the terminal device performs resource mapping according to the mapping resource indication information.
