Abstract
Systems and methods for providing a synthetic track to observation devices are provided. In one embodiment, a method can include determining a location range and a time range for a synthetic track to be created by a plurality of platforms. The method can further include determining an emission location and an emission time for each of the platforms of the plurality of platforms based, at least in part, on the location range and the time range. The method can include sending a set of data to each of the plurality of platforms, each respective set of data indicating the emission location and the emission time at which the respective platform is to generate the emission to create the synthetic track.
Claims20
A computer-implemented method of providing a synthetic track to one or more observation devices, comprising:
- determining, by one or more computing devices, a location range and a time range for a synthetic track to be created by at least a subset of a plurality of platforms;
- determining, by the one or more computing devices, an emission location and an emission time for at least the subset of platforms of the plurality of platforms based at least in part on the location range and the time range, wherein the emission location is indicative of a location at which the respective platform is to generate an emission and the emission time is indicative of a time at which the respective platform is to generate the emission;
- and
- sending, by the one or more computing devices, a set of data to each of the platforms of at least the subset of platforms, each respective set of data indicating the emission location and the emission time at which the respective platform is to generate the emission to create the synthetic track.
A computing system for providing a synthetic track to one or more observation devices, the system comprising one or more processors and one or more memory devices, the one or more memory devices storing instructions that when executed by the one or more processors cause the one or more processors to:
- identify a travel path for each aerial platform of at least a subset of a plurality of aerial platforms;
- determine a location range and a time range for a synthetic track to be created by at least the subset of the plurality of aerial platforms based at least in part on the travel path for each aerial platform;
- determine an emission time for each aerial platform of at least the subset of aerial platforms based at least in part on the location range and the time range, wherein the emission time is indicative of a time at which the respective aerial platform is to generate an emission;
- and
- send a set of data to each of at least the subset of aerial platforms, each respective set of data indicating the emission time at which the respective aerial platform is to generate the emission,
- wherein at least the subset of aerial platforms are to generate the emissions in a sequence based at least in part on the emission times to create the synthetic track.
A system for providing a synthetic track to one or more observation devices, the system comprising:
- a plurality of platforms, wherein each platform of at least a subset of the plurality of platforms comprises one or more processors and one or more memory devices, the one or more memory devices storing instructions that when executed by the one or more processors cause the one or more processors to:
- receive a set of data indicating an emission time at which the platform is to generate an emission;
- and
- generate the emission at the emission time such that at least a portion of a synthetic track is created by the emission of the platform within a location range, wherein the synthetic track is observable by one or more observation devices.
