Wireless power transmission system, control method, and storage medium

A wireless power transmission system comprising:

• a first antenna;
• a second antenna configured to perform wireless power transmission with the first antenna;
• a movement unit configured to move a position of the second antenna relative to the first antenna in a predetermined moving direction, and
• a magnetic body not positioned in the vicinity of at least one end portion of the first antenna in the moving direction but positioned in the vicinity of an intermediate portion of the first antenna,
• wherein the intermediate portion of the first antenna is a portion of the first antenna excluding both end portions thereof, and
• wherein the second antenna is shorter in length in the moving direction than the first antenna.

A wireless power transmission system comprising:

• a first antenna;
• a second antenna configured to perform wireless power transmission with the first antenna;
• a movement unit configured to move a position of the second antenna relative to the first antenna in a predetermined moving direction;
• and
• a control unit configured to control the second antenna, the position of which relative to the first antenna is moved in the moving direction by the movement unit, to perform wireless power transmission with the first antenna at a position where the second antenna does not face either end portion of the first antenna in the moving direction but faces an intermediate portion of the first antenna,
• wherein the intermediate portion of the first antenna is a portion of the first antenna excluding both end portions thereof.

A control method for controlling a wireless power transmission system, the control method comprising:

• moving a position of a second antenna, relative to a first antenna in a predetermined moving direction;
• and
• controlling the second antenna, the position of which relative to the first antenna is moved in the moving direction by the movement unit, to perform wireless power transmission with the first antenna at a position where the second antenna does not face either end portion of the first antenna in the moving direction but faces an intermediate portion of the first antenna,
• wherein the intermediate portion of the first antenna is a portion of the first antenna excluding both end portions thereof.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program for causing a computer to execute a control method for controlling a wireless power transmission system, the control method comprising:

• moving a position of a second antenna relative to a first antenna in a predetermined moving direction;
• and
• controlling the second antenna, the position of which relative to the first antenna is moved in the moving direction by the movement unit, to perform wireless power transmission with the first antenna at a position where the second antenna does not face either end portion of the first antenna in the moving direction but faces an intermediate portion of the first antenna,
• wherein the intermediate portion of the first antenna is a portion of the first antenna excluding both end portions thereof.
